We were commissioned to rebrand a company merger defining the new single consolidated offering. The new name Carbon60, its positioning and visual identity had to wrap-around both businesses and act as the new glue binding them together.
We focused on the strong visual metaphors associated with the ‘bucky ball’ fullerene Carbon60 is named after – strong bonds, supportive frameworks and conductivity. The logo is constructed from three overlapping circles, each with a pentagon cut through the middle, referencing a component of the fullerene.
