Raising the rescuers

Background

Run by Toll Helicopters, Toll’s Aeromedical Crewing Excellence (ACE) Training Centre is a purpose-built facility providing state-of-the-art aviation simulation technology and training. We were asked to reinvigorate their brand language by developing a look and feel that was synonymous to the Toll parent brand yet at the same time distinctive to their own innovative offer.

Approach

We expanded the colour palette to include a burnt orange that was reminiscent of high visibility, safety colours while also complementary to the parent brand. Building out the visual language further, we developed a supporting graphic shape inspired by their renowned five-bladed design of rescue helicopters. With the new brand defined, our work continued into designing their corporate communications, presentations and marketing collateral, whilst also looking at helicopter livery, event stands and advertisements for the parent brand.
